TERN was built by the hands of 8 amatuer woodworkers in the Hunter Bay Woodworking shop. Steven provided comprehensive instruction, tools and facilities through every stage of the construction.

BLUEBIRD, 50' steel-hulled, bilge-keel ketch

Steven rebuilt BLUEBIRD from the hull up, working side by side with the owner throughout the project.

LOON, 41' cold-molded cruising sloop

LOON was built stem to stern in the Hunter Bay Woodworking shop on Lopez. Steven managed a crew of 3-5 builders and acted as master craftsman throughout the project.

EVALENA, 30' 6" cold-molded "Lobster" yacht

This custom-designed yacht, styled after New England lobster fishing boats, was built entirely by Hunter Bay Woodworking.
