LOON

41' cold-molded cruising sloop

LOON is a custom designed 41' cold-molded pilot house sloop built entirely by Hunter Bay Woodworking in Steven's Lopez Island shop. The design, by Bob Perry, has proved very-well suited for many seasons of cruising on the Inside Passage. LOON is currently a live-aboard based in Bellingham, WA.

The cold-molded style of construction, utilizing multiple veneers vacuum bagged and sealed in epoxy, creates a durable wood-composite hull. The interior of LOON, with plenty of head room and a full galley, comfortably suits up to 5 people on an extended cruise.
