Hunter Bay Woodworking has produced a number of small sail and rowing craft over the years, ranging from the eclectic to the elegant. Steven has also instructed and advised several builders in the construction of plywood kayaks, both from kits and from plans.

Rob Walker and Karen Holm toured their twin 17' Chesapeake Light Craft kayaks from Glacier Bay, Alaska to Lopez after building the boats in the Hunter Bay Woodworking shop with Steven's instruction and oversight. Read about their adventures at www.mountainminded.com.
